The Environment & Pollution
This is the third brief which has been set by my University in my first year; the brief was to create a montage piece.
I chose the theme of pollution within our environment to create a not-too-distant dystopian future, within which the realistic feeling of the image would be unsettling as the factory does not look too out of place in the beautiful landscape.
This montage was printed to A1 size so I was aware of every minute detail needing a reason for being there, which they all do. From references to past oil spills which portray the lack of care that some oil companies have in relation to the environment, to the affect which the pollution has had on the local wildlife; all details reference different types of pollution.
This was my first piece of work that was produced mostly in Photoshop.
